Andy and I just returned from our trip to the Pacific Northwest. We flew into Portland and headed to Cannon Beach where my Anesthesia conference was being held. Courtney Grunewald met us there from Milwaukee, where her husband is finishing up medical school (less than a year left). The Oregon Coast is absolutely beautiful, we definitely want to get back there some day with the kids. Thanks again to the Grandma & Grandpa Ackley for watching Emma, Anton & Easton.

Summer Parades

Rochester, Summerfest

The Rochester parade was canceled due to lightening and thunder. The kids were so bummed out. We had perfect seats in the shade and Emma was going to be walking in the parade. Maybe next year.

It poured at the beginning of this parade too, but after 45 minutes it stopped and they started the parade. The kids were not going to go home without any candy. They were troopers.
