Goodbye
We had to say goodbye to Chandra and Kevin today. They were able to spend the night with us which was nice to see them one last time before they had to head back to Ohio. Emma enjoyed playing Mario Kart with both Chandra and Kevin.
New Year's Eve 2008
Anton likes to wear Emma's shin guards around the house.
The sparkling Apple Cider was a big hit this year. And, Emma was really into doing "Cheers."
She especially liked using the "fancy" glasses. When I went to do "cheers" with Anton, he decided to put grapes into my cider and he thought it was really funny.
Superman
Anton sporting his new Superman pajamas from Grandma and Grandpa Ackley. Cousin Griff also got a pair.
Outdoor hockey
After we opened presents, everyone decided to grab their skates and head over to an outdoor rink by our house. Emma was so excited to have everyone to the rink that her and daddy go to every winter. Emma was joined on the ice by Uncle Kyle, Uncle Kevin, Grandpa Mike, daddy and Griff. Emma had her first official hockey injury that day. They were playing hockey with a tennis ball and Uncle Kevin got Emma right in the nose. She had a pretty good bloody nose, but no bruising or swelling other than a little fat upper lip. She initially was pretty shook up but now laughs about it.
