We finally finished Anton's "Big Boy" room. Emma and her friend Mariam helped us paint Anton's room. The girls did a great job and had a lot of fun painting. We just need to get his crib set up and move his clothes. We hope to do all of that after our vacation to Milwaukee.

Cooking

Grandma Barb made Emma a Pixie Hollow apron and she made Anton a Thomas the Train apron. So, the kids helped us cook supper and clean up afterward last night.

Como Zoo/Como Town

Sydney, Makayla, Hailey and Emma

We met Hested's at Como Zoo again this summer. Emma and Hailey love seeing each other and we wanted to see them before they move to Iowa City, IA next week. Hailey's dad is graduating from anesthesia school and will start working there in August. Hailey's twin sisters, Sydney and Makayla, also had fun with the "big" girls at Como town.

Anton is trying out new words every day. He is even using two-word phrases. When I come home from work now he says "mama, mama, mama." I absolutely love it. Since he doesn't see the pediatrician again until he turns 2, we decided to measure and weigh him. So, he is 21 pounds and 34 1/2 inches tall.
