Outdoor hockey

After we opened presents, everyone decided to grab their skates and head over to an outdoor rink by our house. Emma was so excited to have everyone to the rink that her and daddy go to every winter. Emma was joined on the ice by Uncle Kyle, Uncle Kevin, Grandpa Mike, daddy and Griff. Emma had her first official hockey injury that day. They were playing hockey with a tennis ball and Uncle Kevin got Emma right in the nose. She had a pretty good bloody nose, but no bruising or swelling other than a little fat upper lip. She initially was pretty shook up but now laughs about it.

Vikings vs Giants

Chandra and Kevin invited Andy and I to the Vikings game vs the Giants last Sunday. We thought it would sounded like a lot of fun and it turned out to be one of the best games of the season. Not only did the Vikings win by 1 point but they won the North Division and are now headed to the playoffs. The guys (Andy, Kevin and Jared (Chandra's brother) started tailgating around 9:30. Chandra and I joined later and enjoyed burgers and hot dogs on the grill. Tailgating was a lot more fun than Andy and I had anticipated. All in all, it was a great time and a great game.
